Transport and Communications Statistics are among the most indicative parameters of economic and social development due to the important role played by these services as an infrastructure for development.

This Chapter displays data for air traffic at Doha international Airport, sea traffic at Doha and mesaieed Halul and Ras Llfan sea ports and overland cargo statistics.

Another set of tables shows the numbers of registered road vehicles and motor cycles, driving licenses, traffic accidents and casualties.

Communications tables shows the numbers of post office, Volume of postal, telephone, telex and cable services.
