Qatar has achieved a remarkable progress in the field of preventive and curative health services. These services are provided mostly free of charge to citizens and residents on the ground that healthy society is strongly capable for future development burdens

Tables of this chapter in their new contents compared with previous years reflect basic health structure represented by number of hospitals, primary health centres, beds, physicians and other medical professionals, etc.

It also reflects the number of out-patient attedance to public and private clinics, admitted and dischrged persons for hospitalization in HGH units.

The data presented in this chapter is the office of planning and Manpower Development of the Ministry of public Halth, which provided the data related to the Ministry, HMC and private sector.

As to other government units the data was collected directly from Medical units belonging to those Ministries such as the Medical sections of Ministries of Defence and lnterior and Medical units of QGPC
