الاعلام والثقافة والسياحة   INFORMATION, CULTURE AND TOURISM
 

تلعب وسائل الاعلام والثقافة دوراً اساسياً في تحسين اتجاهات المستوى الحضاري للمجتمع وتربط الفرد بمجتمعه وتساعد على تحديد وبلورة اتجاهات الرأى العام.

 

   Culture and information tools Play a leading role in the improvement of the society level of civilization and relate the individual to his community.  They also help in determining and crystalizing the public opinion of any society.    
كما تساهم المؤسسات الثقافية كالمسارح والمكتبات والنوادي في الحفاظ على التراث الشعبي والحضاري . هذا وتحتل السياحة مكاناً هاماً في الاقتصاد الحديث اذ تعتبر صناعة لها مكوناتها كالموقع الجغرافي ، والأماكن الأثرية والشواطئ .. الخ . وعوامل انتاجها كالفنادق ووسائل النقل .. الخ .   Institution like theatr museums, public libraries and clubs contribute in maintaining the civilization heritage of the society.  It is also recognized that tourism is playing an important role in modern economy as an industry having its own  constituents such as geographical location, historical sites, beaches, etc as well as its own production elements such as hotels, transport facilities, etc.
 
ويضم الفصل مجموعة من الجداول الأساسية التي تعكس النشاط الاعلامي كالتلفزيون والاذاعة والصحافة والنشاط الثقافي كعدد المتاحف والمكتبات والكتب المستعارة والأندية الرياضية والاجتماعيــة وعدد منتسبيها . كما تعكـس الجداول واقع السياحة في دولة قطر من حيث الفنادق وعدد نزلائها والليالي السياحية والمتاحف وعدد زوارها .. الخ . كذلك عدد المساجد وأنواعها بدولة قطر .   This chapter contains a set of basic tables reflecting information services rendered by Qatar television, radio and press.  It also reflect the cultural activities such number of museums, museum visitiors, public llbraries, books borrowed, Sport and social Clubs membership.  The tables also reflect the tourism situation in Qatar as related to number of hotels , occupants and touristic nights.  Also number of mosques by type in Qatar.
   
وقد جمعت بيانات هذا الفصل بالتعاون مع ادارتي الاذاعة والتلفزيون والمؤسسات الصحفية المختلفة ، وإدارة السياحة والأثار وإدارة التخطيط بالهيئة العامة للشباب والرياضة ودار الكتب القطــرية ورئاسة المحاكم الشـرعية والشؤون الدينية وشركة قطر للسينما وتوزيع الأفلام وإدارات الفنادق العاملة بالدولة.   The data has been collected with direct cooperation of the following departments and corporations: Television Department, Broadcasting department.  press Corporations, Tourism and antiquities Department, planning Department of the Youth and Sport General 
    Authority (Y.S.G.A ) Qatar National Library. Presidency of Sharia Courts and Islamic Affairs, Qatar Cinema and Film Distrbution Company and Hotels operationg in Qatar.
